The ZebraA skinny, under-sized boy who looked to be about fifteen or sixteen years of age stoked a small flame, his only companion and source of light or warmth, which was quickly withering away. "Oh, please, don't die," he begged, shivering in the cold, "Come on, you can do this...don't die..." The flame ignored him though, silently shrinking away until it was nothing more than a few cold, glowing embers. He whined, shivering uncontrollably and tucking his numb fists under his chin.
